My last name is Danger. Really!

I believe people learn better when they’re having fun. That no topic is too complicated, “dry,” or polarizing. That we can navigate civic, business and social complexity with humor, respect and warmth. If you’re seeking a trusted partner who will bring a fresh approach to your next conference or event, contact me.

Consider booking Tane if:

- You’re a leader who is ready to skip the usual Powerpoint and convey your ideas via interview.

- You’re an event planner seeking a compelling, entertaining keynote speaker and emcee you can trust.

- You’re a producer or host who is seeking an expert to interview about dialog across differences (social, geographic, and political).

Dialog Across Difference

Through nearly a thousand conversations across geographic and political divides, Tane has honed an approach to communication that bridges gaps. Trusted and dynamic keynote speaker

Through 900+ events and appearances, Tane has pulled from his master's degree in public policy and extensive training in improvisation to deliver keynotes in cities, towns and rural areas across the U.S.

We hired Tane to be the keynote speaker for our annual association conference. We were looking for someone who would be funny, engaging, and entertaining. Tane was the perfect choice. He’s all of that plus a great communicator.

Event host and emcee

Leading up to an event, leaders and event planners experience Tane as a meticulous researcher and strategic partner.

Once the event kicks off, clients can relax in the knowledge that Tane will adapt, entertain, and keep their event running smoothly.

Person-on-the-street interviews, sit-downs with senior leadership, after-hour Zoom parties, even long talks with a wordless college mascot—Tane can play with all. His mind is tuned to message, his ear to just the right tone. He keeps our audiences laughing, and watching, and giving.
— Stephanie Wilbur Ash Director, Editorial Services, Gustavus Adolphus College

Tane has had the honor of interviewing more than 600 people live on stage, including: members of Congress, university and college presidents, academics, journalists, historians, authors, and brilliant thinkers like Michele Norris (pictured here), Kara Swisher and Liz Cheney.

“Tane Danger does his homework: he knows the issue and fairly leads the discussion in a way that is funny and informative.” - Event attendee
